We've just made some amendments to "Chapter 1 & 2 - Estate Agent Act".
They include:
1. Additional offences under the EAA. The amendments aim to provide CEA with more flexibility in its enforcement actions against errant Estate Agents (EAs) and RESs, and to deal with less serious offences in an expedient and effective way.
02-12 (aka “Fine of 02 thousand dollars” and/or “12 months of prison time”)
Disclosure of any information, document or evidence filed or produced in connection with a CEA disciplinary proceeding to any other person that is not permitted
Disclosure of any information, document or evidence tendered or produced in connection with an appeal to the Ministry of National Development Appeals Board that is not permitted
